No power at Altitude?

Have 100 and was in CO this weekend with all the rental Jeeps. I had my truck to the floor just to get it moving. Anyway to fix this that doesn't blow up my wallet and truck?

So many Jeep guy's telling me my truck didn't have the ground clearance to go on the trails. 33in tires not big enough? I just gave them my number and told them when they get stuck I'll come get you out.

I think the general rule of thumb is a 3-4% power loss for each 1000 feet of altitude, figuring from sea level.
So a 300 Horsepower car at 10k feet would basically lose 30-40% of rated HP at that altitude.

Forced induction - turbo or supercharger, will help quite a bit, but expensive...
