As crazy as it sounds, it is pretty practical to have a ballistics calculator literally right at your figertips.

The Barret B.O.R.S. system takes up less space I think. I have used it on my brothers .416 and its great. Use range finder for distance. Dial diatance on screen. hold center and hit.

Rather than carry that technology on my rifle I'll let my spotter carry it so I can concentrate on squeezing off the round
