I haven't done the research, but the two trucks I was looking at were both gas powered F350s with Lariat packages. The Tremor only had a GVWR of 10,300 and the non Tremor had a GVWR of 12,000. Seemed like quite a difference to me.F250 Tremor is the same as a F350 Tremor. It's the same truck.
A F350 Tremor can have a gvwr of 11500. A low trim gas truck can have a payload well over 4000lbs.
To get a camper recommendation with a super duty it requires the camper package which isn't available on a tremor. The only notable difference is a rear sway bar.
in other words my F250 with a smaller rear axle, lighter transmission, lighter leaf pack, 10,000 gvwr, and rear sway bar is rated for a 2800lbs camper.
if you're putting a camper on a tremor pay attention to the rear axle rating and consider a rear sway bar. That's good advice to any truck you put a camper on.
A gas F250 Tremor would be 10,300. A gas F350 should be 11,500. Was the 12,000 gvwr truck a long bed? I thought the only was to get a SWR truck that high was with a long bed.I haven't done the research, but the two trucks I was looking at were both gas powered F350s with Lariat packages. I was just looking at the window stick on the F350 SRW 4x4 Lariat with a crew cab and long bed. It showed 12,000 GVWR on the sticker. I know the Ford website doesn't actually show GVWR. Just the restrictions for each axle.A gas F250 Tremor would be 10,300. A gas F350 should be 11,500. Was the 12,000 gvwr truck a long bed?
