Driver walk away with no injuries, thats the main thing. There was no one in passenger seat.
No obvious damage to camper, roof goes up down, all systems completely functional. Small crack where the scrub hit the awning cover. New cab and back on the road.

Any idea of how that happened? As when you drive in those conditions you go slow. That damage looks like a faster speed impact.

I saw this on Casey Ladelle's channel the other day too. I was wondering how fast he had to be going to do that! Looks like good weather and good road.

Very sad. Beautiful rig totalled.

Just watched the video. It seems they were moving at some speed on a forest road. And the passenger front tire edged off the road where there was a drop off. This forced the truck off the road at reasonable speed.

Since I have a cabover, I learned not to go so fast on forest roads that seem to be rather smooth.

It does not take a genius to decide "we are not in a hurry"

At a slower speed, the driver may have had options.

So this is rather strange and interesting!

I stumbled across this FB Reel the other day and it seemed to possibly be related to the crash highlighted in this thread.

Confusingly, the short video looked like it claims some of this accident footage, regarding the recovery process, was 'staged'

I do not attest in any way to the veracity of what they are claiming or showing, but thought it might be interesting for entertainment purposes only for expo members to look at a different view point of this crashed big camper.

I don’t understand how Facebook works because I don’t have my own account was using a friend‘s computer to check up on something else.

I tried to do a direct link and it just went to some stupid general page on Facebook that had nothing to do with this :-(

hopefully you’ll link I’ve posted on the second message works

That's nothing more than Casey working the bots, haters, and algorithms for more views (revenue)
That video clip is simply running back to front. Pretty easy to spot if you actually watch it.
Audio may have been altered to make it slightly more believable.

He is very good at what he does, but even better and squeezing youtube and FB for every penny :p
