"Noise Cameras" for loud pipes?

OMG, I despise old CW and most "Progressive" CW, what I really can't stand is that new hillbilly twanged country that sounds like a calf balling in the lower pasture.

I load up my phone with that "touch tunes" for jukeboxes, I can play music in the bar from my phone. If I hear any rap crap or bad country, they get a dose of In-a-gada-devita, the 13 minute version! If they keep it up, I pack the jukebox with Tiny Tim.

BOT, small town down at the lake has a noise ordinance and they nail bikers after crossing a bridge, they even use a db meter to test the noise level, the louder you are the more it costs!

Here.....let me get you a tissue.

FWIW, most DOT's are highly sensitive about creating unforeseen noise to local home owners. File a complaint. Ask for their noise impact study for the site. Once they conduct their study it could result in the removal of the strips or the installation of a sound barrier (wall, etc....).

DOT can't do anything about pipe noise except put up signs that are ignored.

They are ground into the new pavement, there is no removing them without ripping up the highway and starting over... so we are stuck with it for the next 20-30 years. The wall thing will never happen.

I am lucky, south of town they have the rumble strips inside of the lines.

I like your music theme's but a looked up a lot and listened and well, NO.

I will listen to anything, for the most part but definitely lean towards metal and rock.

Oh, and I didn't know people would have Holiday Road in a playlist. I get to hear it once a year when watching Christmas Vacation. It is great to get you in the mood for the movie but I think that is enough.

That's from the original Vacation. Where they go to Wally World. It's our family tradition that whenever we head out camping that's the first song we listen to.

Yeah, every kid in high school listened to Metallica.... over and over and over and over. One can only hear Enter Sandman so many times. It kinda killed Metallica for me.

Although I do still really like Hero of the day and most of Garage Inc.... and a few others.

I was def into harder stuff when I was younger though. Grind from Alice in chains comes to mind....
More Human than by Rob Zombie...

Still like to jam out to Rage Against the Machine... The whole Battle of Los Angeles album.

The same daughter and I will jam out to Sublime or Deftones....

Yeah I get that. I don't listen to the black album very often. I definitely like the first few albums and the last three the most.

Kinda surprised to hear you like metal and hard rock. I honestly thought you were in your 70's... lol Are you?

Not that people in their 70's can't rock out. I just don't know many people in their 70's that listen to metal, haha
