:sombrero: I've listed some trips in the Jackson Meadows Reservoir, in the past--road from Nevada City to the Hennesy Pass Rd., but
This, here on 6-10-11, shoulda been open and beautiful-Heh Heh WASN'T
They had plowed the rd. from Hiwy 89 to the WEBER LAKE turn off (private clubs) and this is what we ran into
It's passable, but illegal and you can only travel past the sign with snow-cat or snowmobile--no 4wd vehicles allowed unless State !
Its passable, but it's snow thats frozen/melted/frozen/melted-etc and 6' deep in some spots, a little dangerous to goit alone, besides, getting caught and who knows what could happen !!
Beautiful day anyway-did some fishing and gold panning on the "Little Truckee" river, but to much snowmelt runoff--fast water !!
Will try again the 5th of July !
