Any one have a better idea for a 1994 Northern Lites stove fan vent than what was installed at the factory? I know there have been lots of improvements since 1994 and many of those will not fit my camper but maybe some one has an innovative idea how to improve this set up.
Pulled the cover, insert etc. to reinstall butyl tape, seal and such and was surprised at the way it was put together. I did notice this summer I had very little output to the outside even though the fan kicks butt. I discovered there is a thin metal plate covering the exit vents (probably to stop water from entering cabin while going down the road. The fan removed air from the cabin fantastically without this shield in place but I can only imagine the amount of moisture that would enter if it was not there.
If anyone has a model as old as mine and has some suggestions please post or PM.
Thank you,
Scott
