Northstar exterior shower is eating up my cabinet space!

I have a Northstar tc800 with an exterior shower. Unlike many RV showers, the hose for this one (it's this, pretty much: http://www.overtons.com/modperl/product/details.cgi?i=96094 ) isn't contained in the shower box but is instead in the camper.

Has anyone modded this stupid thing or found a way to keep the hose under control? It wastes so much space in the cabinet, what with the plumbing connections sticking straight out and the hose being all springy and evil.

Any suggestions? We need every inch of storage with 4 people in this thing. We also need our shower, you know, with 4 people in this thing. :Wow1: Thanks!

Take a look at the DW Spray Port, it uses a quick disconnect on the hose. Maybe you could adapt something similar

@mkish: I have a TC650 with the same annoying ext shower hose. It's even more annoying because on the Liberty, Northstar uses a same/similar quick disconnect as ripper is pointing out. No idea why they wouldn't use it on the TC as well. I bet a call to Northstar would get you the part number for the shower box used on the Liberty. They were responsive to questions I had last year.
