If you look at sales numbers like these http://news.pickuptrucks.com/2011/09/august-2011-top-10-pickup-truck-sales.html you'll see that midsize truck sales is only 6-7% of pickup sales overall.
It's interesting that GM is reversing course and planning to build a new version of the Colorado. Let's hope they don't change their minds by 2013.
