Saw this really unique conversion in Portland, England recently. No one was “home” to inquire about it. Anyone here have a clue? Perhaps it might inspire others…..

Sure seems old. That grille and hood ornament seem to be the real deal of radiator and cap.

The owner COULD be a rugged Amazon delivery contractor, based in the cardboard boxes seen in the driver compartment, ha ha.

1957 FBW AX40

Fbw Ax40 radio truck, originally built for Swiss army. she is fitted with a straight 6, 8.6ltr diesel engine, four speed box with hi, low, diff lock on rear axle. Top speed is about 37mph and is an absolute delight to drive, by far the best truck I have driven yet. This truck is also right drive.
