on our 4 border crossings with our dog (2 different trips 4 different crossing incidents) neither the US nor Canadian side much cared about the dog..
yet each time we provided his proof of shots with our passports.. it helps that our dog doesn't bark much at anyone. but he does sit up in the back when we're at the toll booth.
they never even ask his religious preferences.
