O2 Sensor whoops 3rd gen 4runner

Ordered a replacement O2 sensor before pulling current one. Yeah I know, but I was at work and wanted it to be at my place by the weekend.
This is a single O2 model (pre-cat) originally sold outside CA, running a SC, URD 7th, and 2.2 pulley.

Ordered a Denso 234-4162(it has- 2 bolt flange, 4 wire/4prong harness), to replace my one O2. My old one looks different, threaded flange, 5 wires /6 prong plug, and different tip.
Wires are white, red, grey, black, & yellow.
Any idea what model number I need?

Here's a pic.

Forgot to mention it's a 1998, 3.4l with an AT.
Here's another pic of both the original and the new (wrong) O2 sensor

Time to go talk to the guy who sold it to you. He owes you the correct sensor....

Only thing I can think is Denso and Toyota are pretty good about putting part numbers on their stuff, might be on the electrical connector. It would be the Toyota number, which isn't tough to cross to Denso, who probably made the OE part. Denso's website I think even has the cross table.

BTW, I would have guessed the flanged one would be right for a 1998 5VZ-FE 4Runner. That's what my 1991 22R-E one looks like, though, so I dunno. I tend to think the old one is broken, which is part of the reason it looks different. Like the sensor itself broke off. Notice any rattling in the exhaust lately? :)

Looks like it came from Amazon, great place BTW for Denso stuff, if you know the right number...

Thanks for the response, yeah should have mentioned, that the exhaust was redone by the PO, magna flow cat and muffler.
Only one cat, one O2 sensor before/upstream cat (this is the one in question) and a traditional looking one post/downstream of cat.
By traditional, I just mean it looks like the correct one that the website calls for.
sorry for the lack of info.
I'll check the part again maybe I missed something?:bike_rider:
Thanks Josh

So for anyone interested it is a Bosch LSU4.2 wide band O2 sensor. Must have been added when the SC and exhaust were done.
