OBS axle options - Sterling 10.25

Observer
I remember seeing some discussions a few years ago, but not quite sure where they went. Curious about others who have converted from drum to disc brakes on sterling 10.25 axles and what the end result (performance) was. Worth it, or no? I'm getting tired of having my drums just not working right. Not good with winter approaching. I've already put in new gears and TT's so would rather explore a disc conversion than loot at new axles.

Iirc, Ford put the 10.25 through early 2000's

I have looked into it before. From my research its not worth it unless you swap the master cylinder and hydro boot set up from an F-superduty. Reason being is I think discs require more pressure to run right and the the stock MC is not proportioned enough to compensate for discs. which is why people convert over to the F-superduty MC and hyrdroboost set up.
