OEM MZ690196 air filter price $75. ?

It's been a few years since I ordered OEM MZ690196 air filters for Gen 2. Prices are over $75.00 including shipping. Are they obsolete? Causation? Even Denso 143-2048 is obsolete. I know that Denso has a large factory in China.

I've been absent from this blog for a number of years, so forgive me if it's been discussed. Thanks in advance!

Use rock auto, or just go to your favorite parts store and get an air filter from them, it is just an air filter.

I second using Rockauto, a Denso filter from them is under $15 plus shipping.
I do not see where you find the over $75 filters, my search is near half that from dealers.
