I am running two of the ARB LED intensity light. The build quality and light output is fantastic. They are mounted on my bumper one is a spot and one is a flood.

I was just looking at the intensity lights on the ARB site last night.

Good to hear they are performing well.

How is the reach on the spot (which I assume is a pencil beam)? I’m thinking two floods and two spots on the roof rack as well as two fog pattern on the bull bar (which may remain Hella 550’s)

I have four IPF super rally pencils up there now and they’ll pop popcorn at 100yards... need something that doesn’t make my alternator glow as brightly as the bulbs.

I am running some cheap amazon ones also and they are working fine. I have a TJ and have them mounted where the stock "fog lights" were. I took one of those lights and mounted it on the back of my Jeep.

What do they actually draw?

I saw some knock-offs of the ARB ones today on eBay and it said 1100 watts? That’s like 10 amps at 12 volts. I’d need to run #12 wire!

Or are they saying the light output is similar to the astronomical wattage? Being eBay, it’s light on tech specs...

I have no idea but I run 12 gauge or thicker on my accessories.
I went to Amazon and got the details.
They were 20-25 bucks.

I use lights from ADVmonster on my bike and they are amazing. On my truck I have the cheapies off of Amazon and they also work great.

Cheap amazon 10" single row in my front bumper(for $60 it does a pretty good job). Sits just under the winch in the pic below. Just picked up a pair of the KC flex lights. No real purpose in mind yet but will probably mount to the A-pillar angled outwards for ditch lights.270_flexsingle_pairpack.jpgcolorado jeep.jpg

It comes down to budget vs. expectations. I prefer the Baja Designs lights and have run their stealth bars in the past. I am waiting for the JT and then I will be getting the LP6/9 lights for that one.

If you want to save some money then Rigid/ARB is a good option. You give up some light distance, and a little less attractive beam patterns and options.

If you just want flood lights for setting up camp, or the look then the Chinese lights on Amazon are a good option.

Regardless there are options for everyone depending on what you want.
