I just replaced both of my hoses and bought them through the dealer. Both hoses and new copper washers were $155. The hydraulic shop local to me wanted $65 a hose and wanted to reuse parts of my fittings (screw that), though slightly cheaper, not worth the money. I have over 240k miles on the engine in my truck so $155 for another 240k miles is cheap.
So replace both hoses and washers (oem) and call it a day.
That is messed up, honestly finding a good shop (hydraulic) is like everything, hit and miss, the advantage of being here in Houston is that there are many to choose from. I know you needed them, I have a spare car so that I always can have one in case I need to wait to repair something.
