Old EV's?

Pretty interesting article.

EV’s are no doubt different and raise lots of questions. Three neighbor kids have first Gen EVs they picked up for pennies on the dollar all had low miles on them. All three are daily local drivers and perfect for that. Two got recycled new battery packs swapped in for less than $2000. Talking modern cars with less than 50k on them pushing 10yrs old for less than $6000 total cost. You can’t buy a 14yr old 190,000 mile Corolla for that right now. LoL

The electric car world is different than the dino juice car world but not by much when it comes to being kept on the road.
Do we have Ewaste issues world wide? Heck yes just the millions of cell phones sold a yr is a bigg ******** problem. Likely makes the EV battery thing look like all our other issues.

Slow recharge times and lack of infrastructure makes them ideal for urban use. Interstate travel, forget about it.

Depends... I see no shortage of Tesla's with out of state plates here (Central Florida).

Also, there are no shortage of charging stations, and a Tesla will even help you find the closest one. ;-)

Pretty interesting article.

One thing about the internet, if you don't like one opinion, keep surfing, someone will give you scientific research to back up yer thoughts.

EVs are the fastest changing technology out there. Supply and demand do that. Todays smart phones do everything a PDA, Digital Camera, TomTom, Weather Alert Radio....... not to mention they have replaced Credit and Debit Cards.... no need to visit 20 stores to comparison shop .... the Smart Phone does it all..... AND it recharges without plugging it in.

Give EVs 15 years and you'll be able to laugh at articles like this one..... and wonder why anyone bought a car with an internal combustion engine . Kinda like the Stanley Steamer 100 years ago.
