I have 5 sets of these Thule towers for raingutters. They are cast aluminum towers with a slot design to secure the crossbars using a simple nut and bolt. I don't have the nut and bolt for all the towers, but I included a picture of one.
They do have the raingutter clamps and the knob to tighten, you would need to source crossbars and the bolt/nut to tighten the crossbar in the tower.
I have no idea how old these are, some are used and some are new, you really can't hurt a piece of cast aluminum - just some scratches from being tossed in a box for the past ten years or so.
I attached pictures of the towers, the slot design, and the factory knob/bolt (of which I only have 2).
Can anybody use them? Or enlighten us on what they are, and how old they are, etc?
I'd like $10 for a set of four towers, plus shipping, which we can do the USPS flat rate box for $10. Seems like you could fab up a nice fullsize rack using 6 or 8 towers if you were so inclined! Quantity discount is negotiable!
