Thank you sir, yes it is a 22re. It's time for a bigger and newer truck. I plan on getting a 2nd gen Tacoma double cab. The regular cab just isn't enough anymore.

I absolutely love this truck and in a perfect world I could afford the Tacoma without selling this one but, such is life. If I can't get what I need from selling it, then I'll just keep it and try to be patient for the Tacoma, haha.

Love these threads dedicated to the classics. I posted mine up on another specific pre-84 Toyota thread as well.

Here's the most recent shot of her.

I'm in DC area, and I'm waiting for it to cool of a bit before I start exploring with her. Gonna get out to Shenandoah, western Maryland and what not. Got some plans for some bumpers and soft topper over the winter.

Also, not sure if this qualifies for this thread but I gotta share it.

Saw this one the other day and flipped a u-turn. Owned by a friendly fella from Venezuela. 3B-T, ARB air lockers front and back, right hand drive.

Let me know when you are ready to sell. I went to college in K-falls and know some people looking for one.

I will, thank you. It's crazy how these forums make it such a small world.
For the right price I can be ready to sell very soon, otherwise I'm just waiting to tie up a couple things before committing to a car payment.
A bit more about the truck: 93 22re, 5spd manual. Just shy of 153,000 miles but I'm daily driving it. Tires are 33x10.5 BFG KO2s with roughly 6,000 miles on them. Otherwise, pretty stock. Few small dents, dings, and scratches, but pretty good shape for the year. Still gets lots of compliments. Engine has a small oil leak that I haven't been able to find but runs strong.

Haven't been on here in ages!

Dirty white truck is still truckin' it's way along. Time for some new leaf springs as my bastard pack of random extra tacoma/pickup springs is not hanging in there so well.

Silly thing just finally busted 200k. Probably one of the lowest miles on these in the country! This truck pretty much sits all winter and only really gets driven on road trips and river shuttles all summer, so the miles don't really add up. Too bad the poor 3.slow only was good for about 180k.

Went on my standard spring runoff surf walkabout, did some extreme dirtbagging.

In non-Toyota related news, we've been slowly building and racing my winter beater in SCCA Rallycross and compiling turbo parts for winter.

On the Yota? 16x8 FZJ80 wheels, 295/75-16. I'm kind of trying to burn em up to go to a 255/85.

Unless you mean the e30 or the Cessna. They have slightly smaller wheel and tire packages.

Lots of nice trucks on here! I would love one of those wildernests!

Mine is a black 89 single cab 22re I've had since 2011. It's been on and off the road quite a bit since then and is off right now due to being on the other side of the country. I really miss him! Just over 190k and has been fairly reliable. He doesn't like freeway speeds with the stock gearing though!

4.88 gears were definitely one of the best upgrades I ever did. My truck was still running 31's when I regeared and it was still pretty good other than fairly significant speedo error. 33s make it perfect.

Dirtbag metal shop.

This stupid trail gear bumper has always driven me crazy because of the height of the receiver, even with a massive drop hitch my trailers won't sit level and the tailgate runs into my bike rack. So we drank beer and added another receiver right below it.

Total investment: $19. Not including my buddies Rainier beers we slugged all day.
