OME 886 Springs and Struts with ARB Bumper on a 2014 DC 4X4 OR with an ARB deluxe bar and Warn M8000.

Can someone tell how much lift they actually got with this setup? OME claims Estimated Lift: 50mm (1.97") I have read others say 3" to 1.5". I would like to be closer to 3" so I am not sure if the OME setup is going to get me there.

Thanks

I put this set up on my Fj and the front I got about 2" the rear about 2.25" You're better off going with a coil over setup that can be adjusted. Check out Toytec. Thye have some really nice stuff and its not uber expensive.

I have the same setup but a '13. I went with the 886 with Bilstein 5100. I'm not sure what it was before but now it's 37in on the driver side and 37.5in on passenger side. That measurement is from the bottom of the fender aligned with the center cap of the wheel. I haven't changed the factory tires yet either.

I've got the 886 coils on my Accescab with an ARB bumper and XD9000; the rear has the OME springs w/o the add-a leaf. After it settled I think I'm somewhere between 2.25 to 2.5 inches. OME makes spacers (and the rear add a leaf) that you can add to get more lift but honestly if you're trying to get three inches I'd probably look at the adjustable setups. Either way you go you will need to watch the front CV angles.

886 & ARB

I have this set up on my 2014 DC Tacoma OR. No winch yet, so not sure how much she'll drop.
I'm right at 3" or so. I can take a measurement if you need...?

OK thanks for the info. I am sitting at 34.25 (measured from fender to ground at the center of the wheel with stock tires) now after the bumper install. That is a bit over .5 lower than stock. If I can be 36.5 - 37 after the OME package I will be quite happy. I got a quote for $675 installed. That sounds like a good deal to me... What do you think?

I have the same package (OME 886 w/spacers, Dakar w/add-a-leaf, ARB front bumper) with spacers and got right around 3" with very little if any settling. $675 installed seems like a good price. I also did the TC lowering kit, carrier bearing drop (rear DS), and shims on the rear leaf pack. Running 285x75r16 Duratracs as well. All in all it works great, very pleased with the result.

I have the 886 up front with ARB bumper and winch on my double cab short bed. Only got about 2 inch of lift out of it so I ended up adding a top plate spacer to bump it up to 3 inches.

Just put in the OME kit last night with the 886 coils. Doing the ARB today; do most of you guys get a spacer for the driver side or is it really a "must have"?

Cheers

I don't think it's necessary if you only have a slight lean and don't mind it, but my ocd kicked in and I finally ordered the smallest shim to try to level mine.

I'd say the majority of people wouldn't notice the lean at all unless they were OCD and/or measured it. Otherwise I don't think you'd notice.

CV's will be a weak link with 3"

I had 886 on an 05 Tacoma with similar and hated them. They are just too dam stiff. My current Tacoma has an ARB bull bar, Warn 8000, Lights, and giant group 31 battery and I am using the 885 with zero issue. It is actually nice to ride in and could support more weight if I chose. no lift difference between the 885 and 886 either, afaik. The ifs on these rigs is pretty limiting. It is important to realize this and move forward with an eye toward maintaining reliability and comfort. OME does a great job in doing this.
