OME Spring/ shock Suggestions

thanks guys! I will continue to update as the springs go on. It seems as I may be the only one who will have these springs on and will do it in parts to put as much info out there as possible. I hope others find this info useful. Thanks again and if there are any other opinions or ideas out there let me know!

I think you are going to be happy with the poly springs. I started with the teraflex coil leveling kit and Bilstein shocks for (I think) 0-2" lift. The tera coils had a very stiff initial spring rate, but would sag and bottom out in the rear with my 90 lb dog in the back. I found some used OME mediums for the front and put the 2" (for 4 door) poly springs on the back. The polys probably gave me a little over 3" and the OME about 2.5 to 3". The match each other very well and they ride MUCH better. I quit surfing the 4 runner forums after I put them on. Last night I had a 285 lb generator in the back and it road like it wasn't there. Maybe sagged 1/2 " under load. If I was starting over, I would probably get the 1" poly springs front and rear.

I think you will be fine just putting the shocks ad springs on and then seeing what else you want/need from there.I am running 285/75/17's.IMAG0180.jpg
