You see FedEx and UPS 4WD trucks up in the mountains all the time. I'd have thought like you, they are probably worked hard and spend their whole lives in crappy conditions.

Yeah FedEx trucks are owned by the independent contractors that deliver for them (unlike UPS that has employees), so for that independent to retire the vehicle it would have to be thoroughly ragged out.
