Ok time for a stupid question...
I have full floating rear axles in my 75 series with a manual trans...since I don't have a center diff lock & only a limited slip in the rear what would happen if I broke a rear axle & removed it?
Is this a really good excuse to upgrade to lockers front & rear? :)
Can you get a center diff lock on a manual trans? That is a transfer case thing right?

you wouldnt get very far trying do drive with one axle shaft in a limited slip. Probably burn it up pretty quick. So yes an awesome excuse to upgrade to selectable lockers.

For the center diff, you probably dont have one at all. If you just have 2wd-4hi-4lo then it is not an AWD t-case and there is no need for a center diff. So as long as you are in 4wd you would be good to limp home on one driveshaft/axle.
