On The Sixth Day God Created...Wyoming

Sending my wife away for the month to Los Angeles for grad school work at the John Tracy Clinic, I had an entire month to wander around and do as I please with my wonderful kids, Alexander and Olivia. A couple of days without a shower? No problem. Same clothes for 3 days straight? No worries. Missing mom a whole lot? Not an issue when you are hanging out where God saved the best in the West for last.

I met up with longtime resident and the guru of Wyoming-kcowyo and his kids.

I think the photos can say more than I ever could, but let me tell you-KC is an excellent tour guide and his kids are the nicest, most well-mannered kids I have met in a looong time (this coming from a 7th grade teacher).

If you ever get a chance, spend some time in Wyoming...the mosquitoes aren't as bad as they say;)

I grew up in Fremont County and your photo's bring back a flood of memories, it has been so long since I have taken the Loop road and enjoyed all of it's splendor. Thanks for sharing you trip!

I go to your threads as the "Go to" source for all things Utah (Along with Kurts) this one threw me for a loop.

Nice as usual.

Beautiful place...I have given serious thought to relocating there. Seeing threads like this only make it worse

As always, fantastic images! KC is a great host and guide. Hewalked me to the door last spring after staying at his place, as in he drove me across WY backcountry to the northeastern corner of the state. Haha Looks like a great trip. Still wishing he would share up his adventurers on here again from time to time.

Thanks for your comments guys. The Winds are truly an amazing area. I had the warm fuzzy feeling the whole time I was there...

Man - kids sure do grow up fast. Have you guys outgrown the Maggiolina yet?

They are huge now...Zand is 7 and Liv is 4. We haven't used a RTT for quite awhile now, we are back to the Springbar or one of the other tents we have.

Beautiful countryside, wonderful photographs. When we make it out to Wyoming we may have to find "KC's Guide Service" and get a tour of our own. Thanks for the online tour Moody.

Really love going through that state. Always a great time, even if the dog gets a muzzle full of porcupine and I end up with a late night weekend oncall vet run to deal with it. :smiley_drive:

Thanks for the post, great stuff!
