One of the Coolest Small, Off-road Capable Camping Trailers I've Seen

You haven't had a water leak you didn't catch in time then.
Subpar materials all around, a thin bead of caulk being the only thing keeping water out.
Reinforcing and repairing the cabinets and framing is one thing, but once the roof or floor have sucked in some water it's like a terminal cancer.
My front storage leaked thru the hinge only while driving in the rain. The floor is OSB. It's rotting now. I looked at it, the entire trailer gets built on top of the floor so no easy re sheet there.
Plus they are so flimsy. My pop up has bounced itself out of square, the canvass doesn't line up with the door frame anymore.
As far as pricing, the staple and glue specials are sky high and have been for last four or five years. Maybe you got yours beforehand or thing aren't rape you outrageous in Alberta like they are in Manitoba.
R-Pod $25999, if it was $16k I'd consider, the axles they use aren't even adequate for the GVWR of the trailer. Winni Drops were low to mid 20s four years ago, haven't looked recently. Jayco Hummingbird same thing mid 20s, laugh in your face if you offer 20k cash. They will finance it for 20 years to some fool for MSRP and also make on interest.

Ours is a hardwall, not a tent trailer. Maybe that is the difference?

Yeah, trailer prices are crazy right now. I think we could sell it for more than we paid. But then what? Over pay for it's replacement? Meh.

I noticed in a different thread you are in the process of ordering a trailer? What did you go with?

An Escape 19. I wanted the 17a but was overruled.
$40k CAD optioned the way we want. 15'8 or something interior length.
Many meters less of caulking to go over twice a year. Fiberglass units hold value and last a long time. We couldn't afford anything like a VMI live in unit or some of the other 80k plus set ups.
