of course.. it starts raining. so we had to stop at a store and get these bad boys.great times
We got to spend some time in San Andres. Through vivacolombia, flights were really cheap so we could not pass the opportunity. The island was really pretty and like most latin american countries the food was great. We had a great time diving, kayaking the mangroves, riding on a scooter exploring the island, going to the aquarium island and much more. It was sad to hear from the locals that the marine life has slowly been disappearing. we humans are a real virus to nature. we eat everything, cut everything down and attempt to reach the heavens by building sky scrapers. On a good note, the ocean was the most clear I have ever experienced. Spending time on the beach was relaxing and it makes my wife and I want to settle in a place where a walk to the beach is possible. We are now heading to Cusco peru to explore Machu Pichu and its surrounding ruins. looking forward to it!
We have now made it to one of the wonders of the world, Machu Pichu. What an amazing experience. WOW it is a grand world. I wish to all to be able to travel, and one day make it to a place they always dreamed of going. I have long dreamed of going to Machu pichu. It was not the amazing story of the Inkas, or the remarkable ruins that leave you speechless that has always drawn me to this place. It was the going to a place that seemed so far away from where I was that drew me. it was the not knowing how I was going to get there but knowing that I was. I planted a seed in my heart to travel with my wife and see amazing places in this world and here we are. the journey continues, meeting amazing people, living life, seeing the world, the human experience.
I will post more pictures tomorrow and describe this experience in more detailed.
It has been a while sense our last update and it is time to play catch up. We are going to post up some pictures to get us up to date to where we are today. We have finally made it back to our truck and the journey continues. It has been amazing seeing family and friends along the way. It has been impossible to see everyone we wanted to see and for that we are sad. we hope that we get to do so in the future. After visiting Machu Pichu and making our way through Peru and Colombia we made it back to the US. We flew to Miami Florida where we spent time with awesome family for a a couple of days. We picked up an addition to the family and made our way down to Key west where the motorcycle adventure began
