Opinions on the Liberty

The liberty has no personality, a wrangler does. At least that is how I see it. If you wife sees it that way get her the Wrangler so she can enjoy what she drives.

I must defend the little guys. Or at least the KJ. I loved my dads, it was fun to drive and super quirky. The KK not so much...it was kind of lackluster.

And he’s already stated, she’s getting a Wrangler, I think we’re beating a dead horse here.

Maybe his wife wants to be able to go topless? Even if you are not off roading hard the Wrangler has allot of appeal to allot of people, more so than many other vehicles.

Last year I "donated" a KJ to a nephew. Wow, was it reliable and a great little 4x4. It had a few minor issues when it turned 10 years old (typical Chrysler cost-cutting stuff), however very solid vehicle. It had the awesome upgraded Selec-Trac transfer case, that along with part-time had full-time (like AWD). I would have kept it longer but the wife wanted a 4Runner Limited. I'd have no problem buying a used Liberty as a daily driver.
