The real big difference between these and the more expensive tents is fabric breathability. You will certainly get more condensation inside a chinese tent than inside any of the high end units but you always can crack a window to take care of that issue and it all depends on the kind of weather you usually camp on.

Hello! I would like to ask you about the fabric part, as I just joined here yesterday and would like to learn more about the RTTs. What is the assumption of breatheability based on? That the chinese inexpensive units will use the polyester fabric and the more expensive ones will use cotton/poly canvas? I notice that the ones sold by cartopcamper.com are offered in both the polyester and the cotton/polyester versions.
