Well, I've owned ugly for years and have done nothing to it save for tires and maintanence... Until I bought a trailer tent for it.

This winter is the start of the mod madness.
1 raise the bed walls at least 3"
2 new braked axles
3 air bag suspension
4 widen fenders
5 lengthen tongue.
6 tailgate.

This should take me awhile with my work schedule, but it's all easily doable.
Let see if I can post a pic with my IPad.

It's a Bushranger 200 from Kakadu camping in Canada BC. I chose it due to the lower mouning height on the tent, and it doubles as a lid. I'm at about max for deck height on the tent, hence the need for airbag suspension... Need to lower while parked, and raise while travel.

I'm taking it for a shakedown run this next week, so hopefully some more pics with it set up.

Was that a reagular cabin tent modded to be a rtt? I been looking for another canvas cabin tent to do that. Would be easy enought to do with the old 70's-80's tents.

Sorry for the long delay, I was out hunting for a week. The tent unit is actually made for trailers. Normally the tailer it is designed for are slightly lower, with higher side walls for the trailer bed. Ergo my need for air bag suspension for lowering as I want to fit my ARB fridge freezer in the trailer. Stock trailer height at about 41" is where the tent wants to be. I'm adding 3 to 4 inches to the bed height.

The tent set up is larger in floor space than my buddies old spam can trailer, but its still a tent. I have a special place in my brain that lusts for an off road tear, but the 110lbs Shepard partnered with the 50lbs collie mix says floor space needed.

Nice setup man. I have seen the Bushrangers up close, nice setup indeed. Great combo and TONS of storage underneath. A friend of mine picked one up here and popped it on his M101 CDN2 trailer. Dont fret the trailer jacks, my first trip included 2 rear jack-stands for the same reason...ran out of time!

Lot's on the list of to do, and not nearly the time I want to spend on it. It'll get done. I really enjoyed the tent over the last week. I was a bit worried about it, as it's a lot of money for a tent, but it turns out to be very well spent.

Sorry about the delayed reply, life gets in the way spite my best intentions. The tent is awesome. Good news is they have dealers in the U.S. now, and a smaller model designed for M101/416 trailers. So a bit of savings could be had. I've not gotten anything I wanted done yet, which is upsetting to say the least. The money did go to a worthy cause as I picked up a series 80 Land Cruiser.
With some of the tongue weight restrictions lifted, I'm going to try and box the fridge on the tongue, therefore avoiding a lot of changes to suspension, and bed wall height. In short, it simplifies things with the K.I.S.S. methodology of thinking.
