Oregon 550 vs 60csx

I've been using the Oregon for a while now and two things bug me.
You need skilful finger tips to operate the touch screen while driving and fitting a screen protector affects the view of the screen in poor light and/or glare.
I think most people who have complained about the Oregon screen prolly had a screen protector fitted

I've got the 550 and I love it. Screen isn't perfect but I've had no problems seeing it well enough in my Jeep with the top down.

Ok so here's my report back. I've been using my 550 for quite a while now and my conclusion is that the novelty has worn off. A touch screen sucks badly and I long for the days when buttons did the job.

Final answer?

I'm in the exact same boat right now, about to choose between the two.

That's what I've settled on. The 62s and I'll get the Great Lakes maps.
We'll see.

My strongest reason for the 550 was the camera, but after much thought I really will always have my Canon on me for video. No point in have yet another unit to connect and download photos from, right?

I'll be sure to update on my thoughts on the 62s.

Thanks,
Tom
