Planned on going up into the French creek drainage above Detroit, OR but there was still too many snow drifts. In a fairly small area there is 8+ waterfalls, one over 360’ tall. With the expected warm weather, should be able to make it in a week or two.

I had a plan-B, heading up Sardine creek. As expected the water was flowing strong with many small season creeks flowing. Headed up to the first water crossing, then slowly worked our way back down. For directions info see post Oregon - Sardine Creek, Willamette NF. Here are some of the sights we were treated to.

Nice, I'm planning a day trip up there myself next Thursday, maybe I'll be treated to a little leftover snow.
