We drove my 03 4runner from Hickory, North Carolina To Tomahawk, Wisconsin back in February and traded it in on this 2012 Pleasure Way Traverse. We left after work on Friday, drove all night, bought the van around 11 am Saturday had some lunch and drove back to NC. It was quite the trip with a little snow thrown in just for fun.

We've made a few additions and taken a few small trips so far. We're heading to the outerbanks for 9 days at the first of august. That will be our first extended trip with all three of us (my wife, 10 yr old son, and me)

added an awning and rear bike carrier (I have a small window unit AC that we will carry in the tool box and use when we are plugged in.)

I'm still finishing up the AC mount and window cover/insulation, but here is the work in progress.

David, its the Fiamma F45s, 10 foot, Titanium color
. I ordered from http://www.eurocampers.com/Fiamma-F45S-Awnings-for-all-Vans-Campers_c_105.html
The brackets came from http://www.vanspecialties.com/ I couldn't find them on their site and had to call them. The brackets go by the name "Z Brackets or Eli's Brackets" over at sportsmobileforum.com. Someone over there was making the brackets for less $ than the one's from van specialties, but they were unavailable when I needed to order. You may have luck there tho. There is NO drilling required to the van which was a big plus for me.

Thanks, gtdad. Bumper looks great. Is that an air hookup in the compartment that is open? If so, what compressor do you have and where did you mount it? Also, can you give me any info on the LED lights you used in the cabinets and under the countertop?

We just spent 9 days, 8 nights in ours. It was our first trip out and everything worked beautifully.

We went over to NC east coast, OBX, and into VA on the way home. Had 3 wonderful camp sites One at Cedar Point in Swansboro, One at Rodanthe Water Sports on Hatteras (it's more like a parking lot, BUT is literally right on the bay and a 3 minute bike ride or 10 minute walk to the ocean side of the island), and lastly we stopped in Williamsburg VA at Chickahominy Riverfront Campground.
We had a couple of days of rain and temps up to 100. The AC kept us cool at night, but we did have some water leak in from the poptop when open (I think from where the fabric meets the van. I will be resealing that area soon.
Here are some pics from the trip.
