Solar power

On top of the roof we have installed six solar panels in order to obtain a lot of free energy.
We have divided the installation in two stacks, one composed by four panels and the other by two.
The truck is high so we have maintained the installation as lower as possible

We use two Victron energy MPPT's in order to control the solar power. They are attached to a Victron color control GX that is able to monitor the entire system.

The installation of the Victron equipment is very simple, but a lot of space is needed. The reason is why we use big equipments like the 150A MPPT, the Isolation transformer and the 5KW Quattro.

We have installed all the electrical equipment in one column near the entrance

One question about your twin water pressure regulators, are they in series or parallel. In series it will give double protection, if one fails then the other one will provide pressure protection, but in parallel, if one fails open, then you will have no pressure protection for any circuits.

Hi Iain, thanks for the compliments!

The pressure regulators are working alone. We have two pressure regulators because we have installed two charging pumps that are working also alone. If one fail we can use the other pump to charge the water tanks. To summarise, each pump have his dedicated pressure regulator.

The bed is important, we decide to use a standard bed size in order to buy mattress and suspension from IKEA.

For us is also important to have the necessary space on the bed in order to stay comfortably in a sit position
