Amazing vacation pics! How are the composite panels doing with the heat? Does it stay comfortable in the camper during the day? Anything you'd do differently if you were going to rebuild?

no problems with the panels at all, very good insulation and it doesnt get hot inside, we do have pretty much the whole roof covered in solar panels and it acts like a tropical roof too, the fantastic fan takes care of any inside heat extraction.

That's great. Your build has really inspired me and got my thought process moving and helping me plan and design my own build.

Rob may not want to know, but I sure do… Did you catch those things?

Sure looks like a great trip. Glad everything is going well so far knock on wood; safe journeys

He is unlikely to admit to catching lobster while in Mexico, since it is illegal to catch any shellfish (mollusks or crustaceans), except by locals. But I see northerners doing all the time.

Nice photos, I appreciate you taking the time to shoot the rig in its environment, especially like Agua Verde and Juncalita Beach with no one there but you.

No we did not catch those lobster, we did buy them off of a local fisherman, the locals are so much better at fishing and collecting things like oysters than us, we are it seems pretty pathetic at catching anything although we are pros at bringing in trigger fish, but we find those to be only good for ceviche. We have had tons of sea food of all sorts, the fishermen at Agua Verde brought us fish every day, they were so nice to us.

We are now on the mainland after a hectic day organizing and getting on the ferry, we took the truck ferry company TMC and the loading operation is something to see in person, guys in little loading trucks backing 53 foot trailers up ramps at crazy speeds then peeling out of the boats locking up all tires to get the info for the next trailer to load, we took the ferry to Topolabampo which took close to ten hours then drove and stayed in Mazatlan for the night, loosened up with a few too many that night but did make it to our final destination of Rincon de Guayabitos where we will stay put for a month before wandering back north. We have a great spot right on the beach and oddly are happy to stay put for a while.
