Overland expo weekend

Alright some know most don't so here goes

Friday we are gonna meet up at the walmart on the 260 in cottonwood at 10 am. The we will run smiley rock trail and depending on what time we finish we will move up the to soldier rock trail in sedona and once again if we blast thru that with day left we will move on to another.

After wheeling we will move on to camp which will be our base camp for the weekend it over looks oak creek and is pretty much thr az crew tradional expo camp grounds. Saturds wake up hit the expo. Head back to camp chill exchange stories etc. Sunday is currently up in the air

Naturally, I have to work on Friday, but I'd like to head up to "Carved Stump" campground after that. I have to get one tire purchased, mounted and balanced by then, but it won't be an issue. Might be an issue actually finding the campground in the dark, but I'll study up before then. Maybe somebody else will be heading out Friday evening and I could run along with them. The 14th St Crew is currently a little low on actual running vehicles right now, since the Castillo Brothers have dedicated themselves to all things other than keeping their Monteros on the road, so their attendance is "iffy."

I got my new 33x12.5-15 KM2 on this evening, so I'm rolling with four tires that roughly match each other again. The spare I have in 33" is one of the old Goodyear MTR's (pre-Kevlar formula) that Monte3 had on the truck before I bought it. That tire sucks; it's sort of round, chunked, loud and not balanced, so it's torturous to drive with the thing on the ground. Now I'm down to two remaining BFG's that I got from Toasty's wife's brother years ago that are on borrowed time but have decent tread left.
Lordtrunks stopped by last night on his way to work and borrowed the seal driver kit and socket for setting his front wheel bearings. Talked to Pa_Jero this evening and he's dropping into Discount tire tomorrow. Sounds like everybody is getting ready for this weekend.
