Overland/Kennel Expedition Trailer Build

Howdy yall! I've been meaning to join up and start posting updates on my trailer build. I am in the process of converting a utility truck bed into an overland trailer. The purpose of this build is to provide a home for myself and my dogs as we travel through the PNW. The trailer was made out of the original 1993 Dodge Dakota frame and I lucked out with it having the same bolt pattern as my Jeep! Here is a couple pics of the trailer as is when I first brought her home.

First mod that I did, besides replacing taillights and LP light, was to build a fold down table. The idea is to cut down on setup up and pack times since I will be living out of this for quite sometime, loading and unloading everyday can get quite tedious and repetitive. I still need to replace the rope with cable and stain the wood.

my old conqueror conquest had doors on the side and they flipped down
almost wonder if there would be a way to make a inside door kinda thing that could flip down to make a table area on one side at least ? that with the overhead would be really cool for light above etc...

Maybe a safetypin of some kind on that DeStaCo clamp ?? & Seems you like to build heavy duty !

Yea man, I like my stuff to last. I thought about putting a safety pin on the clamp but that thing holds 500 lbs of pressure. I couldn't pull it down if I tried.

They came with the box. I think they are plexiglass.

So I am currently living full time out of the trailer. It has been the most rewarding and relaxing decision I have ever made. Now without rent and utility's I can save up a lot faster to outfit the trailer faster and get on the road. The sooner I can travel the better!
