Selling my rooftop tent trailer, this was built in 2015 over the course of several months.
It is welded steel construction and extremely strong. Built for overlanding style of traveling/camping etc.
Purpose built for the trail and intended to handle extreme terrain such as Rubicon trail and similar terrain.
Interior of trailer is exactly 47"X80" of usable space.
The tongue extends 5' for additional clearance in tight turns and is also reversible so it can plug into the rear of the trailer in case of forward progress being halted or impossible. Entire undercarriage and every seam on the exterior/interior is seam sealed and inside of trailer is coated in Rhino Lining.
Trailer skeleton and tent frame/uprights are all powder coated and panels are painted with ArmorKote urethane single stage paint. Panels are seam sealed for weather and attached with TEK screws so if they are dented or become damaged they are easily removed and replaced.
Lid is also sealed with weatherstrip and has struts for easy open/close operation. Dual clasps and locks prevent theft while in use or strorage.
Rear tailgate also sealed with weatherstripping and locks from the inside. We have used it in several torrential downpours while camping in the Ochocos and everything inside the trailer was completely dry.
Adjustable rear trailer stabilizers for when unit is parked and vehicle is detached.
LED lights installed for rear area lighting(which also swivel 180Degrees)
Tent and awning are both CVT, very sturdy and rain proof. The awning is 55"W by 84"L, the tent is a Mt Rainer 3+ person tent with the StarLight option(built in skylights above the sleeping area.
Tent has adjustable storage racks underneath for carrying tools or fishing poles or misc items.
Axle is a 1.5Ton 6 Lug which matches the GM lug pattern, leaf spring suspension and electric brakes.
Hitch is for a 2" ball.
Everything functions flawlessly, running lights, brakes, area lights, tent(no rips, tears or stains of any kind).
