Overland Trip to Sardinia

A few pics of a friend and mine overlanding trip to Sardinia. A beautiful island ?? We travelled some different spots on the east and westcoast and in the center of the island. During the offseason it's very calm on sardinia. One day we spent on "le dune di piscinas", one of the largest dunes in europe, and we've only seen 6 other people. Conclusion: Sardinia is a nice place for Overlanding and Bushcraft, the resident are very nice and friendly, the whole Island is very wild and rocky, we've found some cool unpaved roads which have become offroad tracks with 25° down und uphill with rocksteps and ultimate views.

I've heard how nice Sardinia is, but what are the rules for wild camping like, and are there many permanent camp sites?

wildcamping is like in the most parts of europe strictly forbidden in whole italy. but the most hotels and nearly every campground we've seen is still closed until aprl/may, so nobody was interested. Every evening we reduced our whole setup to let it look like parked cars

i've been two more times to Sardegna, the pictures are from my last trip in 10/23, two weeks in my camper, no campgrounds, everyday nearby the sea. One time a cop came to let us know, that night parking is forbidden, but it was 7pm so we drove 30min to another nice spot. I love Sardegna, now i'm in trouble for every vacation where i should go to, or do i go back 😂

one more time i want to go with my 4x4, maybe next spring
