Oxford and Cambridge Expedition

Bound is truckless man.
Sorry If this is in the wrong forum, but if anyone knew the answer I'm sure it would be you guys. I may be heading over to England next year for vacation and I was wondering if the Oxford and Cambridge Far East Expedition vehicles are on display somewhere, or if they even still exist? Thanks everyone!

Both cars still exist in their livery and paint colours.

I believe they both are owned by a Land Rover collection and are preserved indoors to keep them safe and intact.

Bump to correct myself.

Both cars I speak of are replica models.

The original cars are both dead.
The Cambridge one is in a ravine in eastern Turkey after an accident. It was being used on another expedition at the time.
The Oxford one ended up at St. Helena and has been broken up long ago.

I'd love to know where you got that info! I must've missed that thread on LRSOC.

I thought they found one of them somewhere in the far east. Obviously in a state of disrepair.

Yeah, it's a shame that they are both gone. 2 legends of the land rover world.

I'm trying to buy a 1949 series 1, however the guy is being an ************.
It's far from original so i'm going to restore it to how i want. The colour shall be Oxford blue, and i'll get a dark blue canvas top to match.
