Ozark Trail 4-Person ConnecTent for Canopy

I was wandering through the local walmart the other day and saw this Ozark Trail 4-Person ConnecTent for Canopy and instantly thought of OZ Tents for obviously a tenth of the price and probably tenth the quality but has anyone used these tents before and could a front bar be made so that it doesn't need the canopy to support it? For $40 I might get one and see what can be done but thought I'd ask around here too.

You'll need some guy wires too

Frankly, get a straight-leg canopy and a couple of these and have a camping hub-and-spoke setup

I have one, I was surprised at the quality and material for that low price!

Yes, you'll need poles and a horizontal pole as it is designed to tie off across the top of the canopy tent frame....you'll need guy lines and stakes as well.

3 of those and a canopy ten would make a nice set up, don't forget to get the skeeter netting to hang off the entry......
