Benjamin Moore got back to me again when I asked for an explanation for why they recommend Acrylic over polyurethane enamel for this application.
"Unfortunately, we don't have any testing data for this type of project. I thought it best to use an acrylic for the flexibility reason. Oil based enamels actually dry harder than acrylics, so that is why I thought the acrylic might be a better suggestion. You're kind of in the middle of needing a hard finish to resist chips and nicks while traveling, but then need flexibility for expansion and contraction of the fiberglass due to temperature changes."
I'm thinking I'm going to go with the acrylic paint and primer for the sides and roof. It seems like it will get the job done at a reasonable price and gives me the most options for color and gloss. Then I'll do a monstaliner/raptor liner type product for the underside and bottom edge where I expect more impacts to occur.
