Painting or wrapping rooftop tent

Hey there

Would like some advice on changing the color of my autohome carbon fiber rooftop tent. Would you recommend painting or wrapping the shell? Pros/cons?

Do they need to remove all the hardware to install the wrap? Or do the cut out for hardware? Latches and things...

To Infinity and Beyond!
Here is what a 17 year old wrap STILL looks like after sitting outside everyday for 17 years.

Today's wrap technology is even better!

You will throw the tent away before the wrap fades!

I thought about painting it and asked a body shop to give me a quote to paint it but they have never painted carbon fiber before and they were worried about how the heat process they use for curing the paint would affect the carbon fiber. The company that i asked to give me a quote for wrapping told me that they would have to disassemble the tent in order to wrap it and I didn't want to void the warranty of the tent and end up with a leak. So I am searching for a different shop to give me a quote.
