Painting Truck Campers?

Hi all I was curious if anyone has any experience painting truck campers or wrapped any with any decals vehicle truck wraps etc.? Is it easier to paint an older model? I am thinking about having this done professionally. I haven't purchased a camper I plan on doing that in the next year or so. I am doing it for aesthetics and branding. I plan on paying off my debt, and quiting my corporate job but August 31st 2013. I should have a website soon chronically my journey and that process :) Thanks for the input I've learned a lot from so many great folks on here!

I have no idea about painting the campers, but am interested to hear what folks think about it on here.
Congrats on hopefully getting out of the corporate world!! :smiley_drive:

If I did do up a camper it would either be MARPAT or if I had some serious change a mural of the Norse gods and goddesses sitting around watching the puny human race.

The first pic is my 5500 Flatbed, second is the run around. Just to give you an idea of how you can be creative with your vechicles. Anyhow, bottom line opinion is i would wrap it, it will be less money in the long run, much more durable (tree branches, drunken camp mates)and would hide any flaws that it may have. It is up to your imagination as to what you would want on the side of your camper. I am posting a reply because im in the middle of having mine wrapped. Its an older one but and the interior is mint, but the siding is a dull way off white with some cheap striping. I will post up pics when its complete. Good fortune in your future plans.

What does wrapping cost down there in Co? One of my friends just had his Syncro VW van wrapped and it was $4k. His "Airporter" style buses cost $10k to wrap. I didn't realize it cost so much.

Im a custom steel fabricator and bartered my two trucks and two trailers for a bumper and some field welding so i cant tell you $$ exactly, but i would imagine it about the same square foot price......4K seems a little high for a van

just spoke with my guy he charges 1475 for a full wrap on both sides of a car, vans would be a little more......you should probably call him and he can draw it up, communicate a design via internet and send you the material and installation guide. they do it all the time. you'd save quite a bit of money for a days worth of "playing with stickers".

Thanks for the info... I'll pass it along to my friends manager. They wrap a lot of stuff.
