Good evening,

Is there anyone on this forum that own the Pajero GDI 3.5L with engine 6g74?

It seem that everyone (or most) have diesels. I'd like to see what you guys think and what kinds of mod you did on yours, considering all the electronics under the bonnet.

Just got mine and still trying to figure out if the timing belt and seal kit from the Montero would fit or not. I cannot find anywhere these parts for the GDI and I don't want to order the parts if I'm not sure it is the right one.

Thanks for your help!

Fred

Are you saying that your Pajero is a Japanese domestic market vehicle? If so, they have the direct injection while the North American cars have the traditional electronic fuel injection. The 6G74 was made in both SOHC and DOHC versions. I don't know which one yours is, but the timing belt kit would obviously be very different.
