Partner stoves

Does anyone in Colorado sell Partner camp stoves? I think I would like to seee one before I spend the money. I have two camp chef stoves, one single burner and one double burner they are great stoves but kind of heavy.
Oh and since everyone has an opinion are they worth the money to upgrade what I already have? Most of my camping is done around 10,000 feet and the wind usually blows.

Do it. I have the three burner and it's totally bomb proof. There's nothing out there that compares to them. I thought the burner in the Kimberly was broken compared to how the Partner fires. Even with the built in burners of the Kimberly, we would take the Partner with us.

I have used both campchef and partner steel stoves. Both stoves work great even at high altitudes (10,000'+). The downside of the campchef was its size and weight like you said in your OP. I got the partner because I downsized my camping rig and needed the space/weight savings it gave me, with the durability/dependability of the campchef stove. It was a expensive stove but it will last me for the rest of my camping days IMO. My brother like it so much he got one also last month.

A good friend of mine (in Colorado) aquired a Cook Partner stove this summer and also does some high altitude camping. He says he really likes it. He works in Boulder (near you) and probably wouldn't mind giving you a demo. Send him a PM here on ExPo @ "randall haynes".
