Parts Arrived from Japan!

I received some parts I ordered, in rather quick fashion, direct from Japan. I was quite relieved when they showed up as ordering international parts can be a gamble. Since Mitsubishi USA has discontinued nearly every part I have been trying to find other sources needed to be found. The Australian Pajero forum pointed me to this site: https://www.amayama.com/en/ and I must say it was a painless experience.

So if you are looking for discontinued Mitsubishi parts and have the part numbers give it a shot. It was the only way I could source replacement eccentric bolts for the rear toe arms as well as some special bushings for the transmission crossmember.

I have also found the Febest manufactures a lot of aftermarket parts like control arms and such for our vehicles and is a good place to check as well.

Looking for that thing i just had in my hand...
What i find weird is that Gen 3 parts are hard to get and yet my Gen 2 stuff is in stock typically? Maybe Gen 3 parts were superseded by Gen 4 part numbers? not that we would know if they were compatible.

I almost made the title of my post "Overnight Parts From Japan"!

I ordered a pair of eccentric bolts for the rear control arms to adjust toe (rusted solid) and a set of upper and lower bushings for the transmission crossmember. It was around $30ish for the parts and $30ish for shipping. Pretty sad that the dealer couldn't get this stuff, nor could I find an aftermarket supplier.

I was able to order the eccentric control and lateral arm bolts through my dealer. I wonder why yours didn't have stock? I had to cut mine out and it was a major pain, but definitely doable. I order the Febest control arm bushings from amazon and pressed them in today. Also installing the Febest lateral arm once the dealer gets my bolts Monday. Good luck!

My local dealer initially said they could order them but then called me back and said they were discontinued. Weird
Out of curiosity, do you have the part number for the lateral link bolts you ordered?

Amayana are great to buy from, have used them myself to get parts for my Landcruiser here in Australia. I got genuine Toyota parts shipped to my door from the UAE for a third of the cost of buying it local through a dealership. I could have gotten the same parts out of Japan for about half the cost of the local dealership, but went the UAE option instead and got them even cheaper again. One part i wanted, they got back to me a few days later and said the UAE didn't have it after initally saying it did, but it was the cheapest of the 4 things i was buying, so i bought it locally here in Australia instead.

I noticed recently that shipping from UAE was alot cheaper than shipping from europe and oz for us USA guys its like half the cost we get raped hard on shipping on overseas parts, i'll be looking for more parts from UAE just based on the shipping savings.

Yeah, I noticed that in the picture you posted. The parts girl said "the big ones are in" meaning the control arm bolts? She mentioned that the others have shipped but have not arrived. I'm nervous, but hopeful that they'll arrive tomorrow.
