"Doctor, i have this friend who has a ...." oops; wrong forum. but seriously... i have a friend who has a Volvo station wagon with factory racks. he has taken the crossbars from a set of Thules and attached them with hose clamps to his factory bars.
now while they do seem to get the job done, quite bluntly they look awful. seeing a post about a hand grip bracket for shovels and hi lift jacks makes me think someone on this forum has run into this problem before.
anyone know of a supplier of a bracket which would enable "my friend" to attach rectangular crossbars to factory roof racks?
