just an update to this since i havent done it in a while
swapped the rear the rear tire carrier out for a tail gate and just put tire in the bed , installed a 2 piece driveshaft , re-doin the suspension for 3 link upfront and 4 link in the back, and swapped out mech fan for e-fan with a custom shroud im working on

and the carrier bearing and yolk protected

the new skid added after running sunflower

the tailgate gives me about 2-1/2ft clearance over the tire carrier

pretty much done , i had to notch the drivers side to clear the steering box
so im still working on that

other than some mounting brackets , its done

oh and welding aluminum sucks lol , good thing is that its not a structural weld

Schweeeeet! You keeping the radiator in the engine compartment or moving it behind the cab? I've seen some serious offroad/comp vehicles in Oz do that trick with much success.
