PFD's for Infants

Just ran across these yesterday at an outdoors show. I'm looking into them. We need a solution for our baby to come in the canoe, as she'll possibly be less than 20lbs, and I was never happy with the fit of a 20-30lb PFD on a 20 pounder anyway. Just too bad they are kinda pricey for something that will only fit for about a year.

It should be noted that they are not Transport Canada Approved, not sure what the deal is in the US. They claim the reason they are not TC approved is that there is no classification for PFD's under 20lbs to which they could seek approval. Apparently there is also no requirement for PFD's for under 20lbs anyway? But I would never do that.

Anyway, without further ado:

Rob, you can buy the Naya at Mountain Equipment Coop. We just picked up one a few weeks ago for our little guy and seems to fit quite well. Our plan is to sell it off when he grows out of it. Like you most people would not feel comfortable without one so it should be easy to sell on.

Went to the store in Ottawa, and they didn't have them. Strange. Did pick up a 36" paddle for Phil though.
