I'm looking to change/redo/enhance the way I handle my photos, and as such, I am looking at photo organization software.
I have heard a lot of good things about ACD Systems Pro Photo Manager 3.0. But, I have played with Google Picasa 3 (only a little bit) and it appears to be fairly powerful.
My question is, how good/powerful is Picasa, and is it a "real" tool, or just free software for the "average" user? Pro Photo Manager is only $140 or so, so it not a break-the-bank product.
In other words, is Picasa good enough, or should I splurge for PPM?
Thanks.
